My friends and family would describe me as a kind, caring and faithful person who is also resilient and hard working. I love life and the people in my life. I have two amazing grown up children who are happily leading their own lives and enjoying them to the full. So I have the time and freedom to design the next chapter of my life in a new way.
After spending my career as a Developmental Psychologist, helping to promote the development of babies, I decided last year to establish a more natural way of life by the time i’m 50 (just a few weeks away 🥳).
I’ve always had horses in my life, so country living comes naturally to me and is where i’m happiest. It has always been a dream to farm, so last spring I set off an adventure to do just that. I spent a couple of months helping on goat, sheep and cattle farms in the Peak District where I learned how to milk goats by hand and delivered my first lamb. I then headed up to Fair Isle to help on a croft and learned to fish at sea. I’ve just returned from another four month stay on Fair Isle where I have been crofting and lambing. The farming life it definitely for me 😊

I would like to meet someone to enjoy the good life with. I feel happy and content in my life, so i’m not looking for someone to fill a gap. It would be lovely to meet someone who has their own interests and equally feels fulfilled so that we can enhance each others life. A country lover is a must.
