About him
At my core, I’m modest, humble, shy and introspective. I’m caring, considerate, generous, thoughtful and kind. I’ve been described as witty, sharp, humorous and one whom doesn’t take life too seriously. I have a small inner circle of people that I trust. In stark contrast to my work life, where I enjoy a large network of connections and fantastic relationships.
I’m generally a happy soul, successful and content. I have a taste for travel and would love to see more of the world. I enjoy fine dining. I’m also a very good cook, it allows me to express my creative side and sparks my imagination. I love classical music. I’m a frequent, if not devoted, listener to Classic FM. I attend classical concerts at the Birmingham Symphony Hall often. I like music festivals, food festivals, countryside walks, sporting events and thought provoking tv series / movies. In between that, I do enjoy a bit of kicking back with the Xbox.
In previous years I used to consume news programs, former avid reader of the broadsheets, keen follower of Newsnight (Paxman years) and adored satire. Have I Got News For You and programmes such as The Thick Of It featured highly in my favourites. I’ve kind of moved away from that, seems to be a hell of a lot of doom and despair, with tv channels striving for viewing figures and market share by sensationalising drivel. I am, of course, still very concerned with the wider world outlook, but not to the extent where it’s packaged and sold with the same gusto as Katie Price’s misdemeanours or squabbles between Coleen Rooney and Rebekah Vardy (shudders).
